Senior Client Services Associate
Location: Hamilton, Ontario
Position Start Date: January, 2011
About the Position
Cygnus Applied Research is seeking an experienced professional to take a leadership role in the delivery of our client services and client project management. Responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day execution of client contracts, conducting meetings and interviews with senior executives in the not-for-profit industry, drafting survey questionnaires, interpreting research data, and writing and presenting client proposals and reports.
Required Qualifications and Experience

- A minimum of three years experience working in a corporate or not-for-profit environment with specific responsibilities in one or more of the following areas:
- project management, client contract delivery, market research, management consulting
- Three or more years' experience in report writing and/or delivering information based presentations inside a corporate or not-for-profit environment.
- Two or more years' experience managing staff and/or client relationships from a project leadership role.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and oral, with a proven ability to interact confidently with senior professionals, executives and research subjects.
- A proven ability to review, analyze and interpret statistical and anecdotal data.
- A proven ability to summarize, draw conclusions and generate reports from a variety of sources.
- Experience delivering results within tight deadlines while balancing multiple tasks in a demanding business environment.
- Holding a University degree preferably in Humanities, Social Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Market Research, Fundraising or Not for Profit Management.
The position includes travel within Canada and the United States, requiring a valid passport.
Direct experience as a client service associate to the not-for-profit sector is not required provided the applicant can demonstrate a substantial depth of transferable skills.

Starting Salary
$65,000 to $72,000, commensurate with experience
