Scott Koblyk
Scott Koblyk is the Director of Client Services for Penelope Burk’s company, Cygnus Applied Research, Inc. As lead consultant Scott has helped hospitals, theaters, national charities, small not-for-profits and billion-dollar-raising universities incorporate Donor-Centered Fundraising® principles into their development operations. Scott came to Cygnus with many years’ experience in one of North America’s leading university advancement offices where he directed the alumni and donor relations programs.
Scott has written for local, national and international audiences on behalf of corporate and community leaders, philanthropists, entertainers and politicians. An accomplished speech writer, he is also an award-winning humor columnist and frequent conference presenter. Scott is an active volunteer with a long list of community leadership positions, and is a grant reviewer for a $100 million foundation. He has also twice been selected coach of the year in university golf.
